Exam Prep Resources

Exams are upon us. Although this can be a stressful time the law library has a variety of resources to help.

Some of our study aids that deal with exam preparation and success are on display in the reading room including: Outlining for Exam Success, A Practical Guide to Writing Law School Essay Exams, The Eight Secrets of Top Exam Performance in Law School, and Hard-Nosed Advice from a Cranky Law Professor. Similar books on outlining, exam prep strategies, essay exam techniques (IRAC and others), stress relief, and time management can be found in the reference collection on L3 and on L5 (call number range KF 283).

In addition to books, here are some other resources that we recommend.

If you don’t have the time to read books or blogs, CALI has a three part podcast series where professors discuss “exam taking skills, outlines, and advice for law students” (Part 1, Part 2, Part 3). If you haven’t registered for CALI, please email a librarian or stop by the reference desk.

Good Luck and Happy Studying!
