Preemption Checking

November 19 / Room 110 / 3:10pm

This Wednesday join Evelyn Ma, Reference Librarian in Foreign & International Law for a research workshop covering sources for conducting preemption checking. The preemption process entails surveying pertinent legal or specialized literature to determine if a paper topic has already been published.  Popular full-text and index databases helpful for students conducting a preemption check while researching a paper topic will be covered. The workshop will touch on legal and multi-disciplinary sources and attendees will be exposed to both open-access and subscription databases available to the Yale community.
