The Faculty Services Department will obtain and deliver materials for YLS faculty upon request. If a title isn’t accessible within the Yale University Library system, we will diligently seek to obtain it from other sources. Although electronic materials have traditionally been sent via email, we encourage delivery through other methods – i.e. research management or collaboration tools like Zotero (which will also create Bluebook-formatted citations for you) or Box.com. We’re happy to meet with you to explore these other options if they suit your needs.

Although the Department does not usually handle large photocopying or scanning requests, we will coordinate such projects with faculty assistants. Further, copying services are available through the Law School here. In general, course materials are sold through Yale Printing and Publishing Services (YPPS). On-line ordering, convenient pick-up locations with extended and weekend hours, and paymbent options are available for students. The YPPS websitehas more details.
