The Yale Advocate

In fall semester of 1967, YLS students Michael Gross '68, Hugh Moore '69, and Richard Hughes '70, launched the Yale Advocate, an entirely student-run paper supported by ads and volunteer contributions. The Advocate was published bi-weekly between 1967-1970 and distributed freely to the community. According to Hugh Moore, "the papers should provide a good, ground level view of YLS from the students' perspectives during these important years." In 2020, he donated his copies of the paper to the law library. All issues in the library's holdings have been digitized, however, a few issues are missing from our collection.
