Financial Times
The Law Library, in partnership with the University Library, provides online access to Financial Times. To explore’s latest U.S. and international business, finance, economic, and political news, register for an account at: Please use your email address to register. If you are off campus, you will need to connect via VPN prior to accessing the link. Once you have registered, please use to access content.

The Economist

The Law Library, in partnership with the University Library, also provides access to The Economist online. When accessing, you may encounter language regarding paid subscriptions. Please disregard these messages. You have full access to the content through Yale’s institutional subscription. Please Note: Yale University’s subscription to The Economist does not include the audio edition or the apps.

Bloomberg Law & Bloomberg Terminal

The Law Library provides full access to Bloomberg Law for YLS faculty, students, and staff: Full access requires an individual account for which you must self-register here: You can also obtain an activation code from the Reference Desk on L3. Registration requests are approved by Bloomberg Law personnel.

Bloomberg Law News is organized topically and coverage is identical to what you will encounter on the stand-alone Bloomberg Terminal, which is adjacent to the Reference Desk. The Bloomberg Terminal allows experienced users to monitor real time financial data and news.
