Joy Hovestadt is the Document Delivery & Research Librarian at the Lillian Goldman Law Library. In this role, Joy provides reference, instruction, and research assistance to the Yale Law community. She also coordinates Yale Law faculty research requests for materials, including archival and special collections materials. Before coming to Yale, Joy was a Legal Research Librarian at Suffolk University Law School. She previously served as an Assistant City Attorney in Burlington, Vermont, and a Law Clerk to the Honorable Michael G. Moses of Montana’s 13th Judicial District Court. She holds a J.D. from Vermont Law School, where she was a production editor of the Vermont Journal of Environmental Law; an M.L.I.S. from Louisiana State University; and a B.A. in History from Mount St. Mary’s University.
