Sangita Gazi

Research Fellow

Sangita Gazi’s research highlights the interplay of law, technologies, and finance and how they interact in the banking and financial sector and on a macroeconomic level. Her works on payment systems, digital currencies, and regulatory and supervisory technologies have been published by peer-reviewed journals including the Cambridge Law Review, the Banking and Finance Law Review, and the Arkansas Law Review, among others. Her policy briefs and working papers have been published by the Bank for International Settlements, the United Nations Capital Development Fund, and the Asian Development Bank.  Sangita is currently a third-year Ph.D. candidate at the Faculty of Law, University of Hong Kong. She completed an LL.M. from Duke School of Law and also has an LL.M. in International Development Law and Human Rights from the University of Warwick (United Kingdom).
