This site is a portal to collections of digitized material, streaming audiovisual content, and web archives. Click below or scroll down to browse our growing digital collections, where new content is added regularly.
Digitized Collections
Yale University Library Digital Collections is a living database of millions of digitized works and images from collections held across Yale libraries. This site is home to a growing law library repository of digitized historical legal works and material related to the history of Yale Law School. Browse our collections below or go to the Digital Collections site to search for more digitized material.
Our legacy digital collections database, FindIt, will be retired and taken offline as of Friday, January 24, 2025. As noted in the "FindIt Decommission Notice" on the FindIt home page, restricted content that are "open with permission," including restricted material from the Kissinger Papers, will be unavailable as of December 13, 2024, and will be available again in the Yale Digital Collections System as of January 13, 2025.
AV Collections
Select collections of audiovisual recordings are available for streaming through the Lillian Goldman Law Library Aviary platform. In addition, search and browse all Yale University Library AV collections in Aviary.
Web Archives
The Yale Law Library web archives collection was launched in 2022, in partnership with the Internet Archive, Archive-It program. Our web archiving initiatives help ensure long-term access and preservation of at-risk online content from collected sites. Some sites are still active while others are defunct.
