Congressional Research Service, funded by taxpayers' dollars, provides members of Congress with reports on current political, legal and socio-economic issues.  Open CRS provides citizens access to CRS Reports already in the public domain and encourages Congress to make all CRS Reports available in the open source. Recent CRS Reports of interest to those following current affairs relating to Asia include East Asia's Foreign Exchange Rate Policies and Tibet: Problems, Prospects, and U.S. Policy.
