Law Archive offers a free service for legal scholars around the world to post their English-language scholarship.  Free and open legal scholarship facilitates access to legal information and advances the rule of law; however, there are limited options for scholars looking to deposit their works in a reliable repository without bearing some kind of cost. To help ameliorate this issue and provide equitable access to legal information, Yale Law Library launched Law Archive in April 2024 in collaboration with the Center for Open Science. Law Archive, hosted on the Open Science Framework Infrastructure includes, preprints/working papers critical in the rapid dissemination and refinement of ideas, as well as fully published articles.

This webinar will provide attendees with information about:

  • Open scholarship, the mission and purpose of Law Archive.
  • Accessing and registering an account with Law Archive.
  • Uploading papers to the platform
  • Leveraging additional features of the Open Science Framework to share data, collaborate across institutions, and network with other scholars.
