Stop by the Rare Book Room to try your hand with 17th-century English handwriting in this Rare Book Room Open House drop-in session.  We'll have quill pens, ink, and 17th-century manuscript ink recipes, as an introduction to "secretary hand," the predominant script for English writing from the 15th through the mid-17th century.
