Please join the Yale Environmental Law Association, Yale Animal Law Society, the Visual Law Project, and the Lillian Goldman Law Library for a screening of Racing Extinction, which follows undercover activists trying to stave off human-created mass extinction. Scientists predict that we may lose half the species on the planet by the end of the century – that we have entered the first major extinction event since the end of the dinosaurs.

This documentary thriller premiered at the 2015 Sundance Film Festival, followed by a limited theater release.

This event was made possible by the S. Kinnie Smith, Jr. Fund for Law and the Environment and the Lillian Goldman Law Library.
