Legal Research Clinic
Practice, Review, and Learn before your summer internship, clerkship, or job
Wednesday, May 16, 9:30 - 4 pm

 

The Law Library is excited to offer an intensive, one-day clinic for students looking to brush-up on legal research before the summer. Open to all students (including graduating students), workshop will provide opportunities to practice and work through research problems relevant to your summer or post-graduate experiences.  

 

Schedule: The morning will include short lectures on sources and techniques followed by hands-on practice presented by John Nann and Stacia Stein. After lunch, students will break out into tracks depending on their potential internship, employment, or interest:

Track 1 – Research for your Clerkship / Public Interest / Government Work (led by John Nann

Track 2 – Research for your Law Firm / Corporate Job / Transactional Work (led by Stacia Stein)  

Breakfast and lunch will be provided.  


If you are interested in attending, please RSVP and Register by April 27, 2018 at 5pm. Please note that this program will be canceled if fewer than 25 students can attend; should we need to cancel, we will notify registrants on April 28.
