About the image:  Detail, Ashlynn Smith, Initial study for Twins on the Bench, a commemorative portrait of the Late Honorable George Bundy Smith '62 and the Honorable Inez Smith Reid '62.  Oil on canvas.

About the artist: Ashlynn Smith is a student at the Roski School of Art and Design, University of Southern California.  She is the grand-daughter of Sidney Smith, Jr., elder brother of the twins.  Her portrait is based on a childhood photograph of the siblings, drawn from the family collection.
