Tip of the Week Articles Plus - Quick and easy way to search across most online databases in the Yale Library collection

Liliane McClenning

Did you know that there is a quick and easy way to search across most online databases in the Yale Library collection? Use the Articles Plus search box to conduct a quick search for journal articles and newspapers in various subject areas. Please note: You will not be able to find everything in the Library collection using Articles Plus just yet. Articles Plus is a good way to start interdisciplinary research, but is not the best way to conduct comprehensive research nor in-depth legal research.

To use Articles Plus, go to the Yale University Library website and under Research, click on Search Articles Plus. Alternatively, use the “Database Quick Search” box from the Law Library MORRIS catalog. Of course you can always seek the assistance of one of your Reference Librarians.

Quick Tip: The default search results in Articles Plus  might not include your desired material type (e.g. results might exclude newspapers) or might return too many irrelevant results. Remember to make use of the left sidebar in your Articles Plus search results to refine your results by content type, subject terms and language. Visit the Yale University Library help page for more information about Articles Plus.
