Winter Break

As we approach the winter break, a few details about using the library:

Library Hours: We’ve extended our usual winter break opening hours. Hours for the break can be found here http://library.law.yale.edu/about/hours-access.

Reference Librarians/Research Help: The reference desk will be closed during the winter break but the reference librarians will be checking email except for the weekend of Dec 27 / 28, and Christmas Day and New Year’s day. If you have a question or need research assistance, please email reference.law@yale.edu

Self-Check machines: remember that over break there will be times when the library is open but the circulation desk is closed. If you need to check out materials, we have self-check machines on L3 (main circulation desk) and L1 of the library;

Interlibrary Loans / Scanning / Borrow Direct: Our ILL staff will be on break from December 20th until January 2nd, so please put in any requests in good time before December 19th;

Checking out materials over break: Law library materials checked out from now on will not be due for return until the end of winter break. However, be aware that we have no control over due dates of Borrow Direct and Yale Library materials, so keep a careful eye on due dates and renewals;

Past exams: Online past exams can be found here: http://morris.law.yale.edu/search~S2/a You’ll need to log in with your net id and password.

Have a lovely winter break!
