The Tenth Conference on Empirical Legal Studies will be held October 30-31, 2015 in St. Louis, Missouri at Washington University in St. Louis School of Law. Paper submissions are due June 26, 2015. For more information on submitting your work, visit the conference site: http://cels2015.wustl.edu/

What sort of work makes for a good conference paper submission? Work that is sufficiently developed but could still benefit from a round of constructive criticism. An October conference is an excellent opportunity to workshop a paper that will be “almost ready” for the August law review submission cycle.

CELS focuses on empirically-oriented papers; both quantitative and qualitative work is considered. Papers that utilize public data (e.g., Census) or original research data are appropriate for CELS.

Good luck with your submission!
