New Book Display on L1

The Common Heritage of Mankind Book Display

The new book display on L1 of the law library attempts to illustrate how the principle of “the common heritage of mankind”, or “the common heritage of humankind”, has been examined in the multilingual scholarship in our library collections. The principle, simply put, represents the notion that some natural resources or elements beneficial to humanity as a whole should be developed under an international regime for the benefit of humanity.
