Tip of the Week: JSD and PhD Application and Dissertation Proposals

Liliane McClenning

Are you considering applying to the YLS J.S.D. program or another doctoral program that requires you to submit a dissertation proposal with your application? We can help!

With the late-March J.S.D. deadline here at YLS, and similar deadlines in other programs, now is the time to work on your proposal. Reference & Instructional Services librarians have experience writing empirical/social scientific proposals, legal history proposals, and more. We can meet with you to discuss research methods, creating a timeline for your project, and pitching your project effectively. We also know about the human subjects/I.R.B. process at Yale, and where to search for doctoral funding opportunities.

Make an appointment with a Reference librarian!

Thank you,
