Wobbling Justice: An Exhibition of Supreme Court Bobbleheads

Lillian Goldman Law Library is the official repository of the United States Supreme Court Justice Bobbleheads, created by the Green Bag which has been issuing them to selected subscribers since 2003.Our collection is currently on display in the Law Library’s Reading Room on L3.

The Law Library holds all 25 Supreme Court Justice bobbleheads and a handful of other bobbleheads who are not Justices, such as former YLS Dean Harold Koh.

For an annotated description of the bobbleheads in our collection, see: http://www.greenbag.org/bobbleheads/pdfs/bobblehead_annotation_pdfs.html.

The current exhibit features Justices Harry A. Blackmun, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Clarence Thomas, David J. Brewer, Benjamin R. Curtis, and Louis D. Brandeis.

We will rotate six bobbleheads every few weeks and the exhibit will run throughout the summer.

This exhibit was curated by the following library staff: Cesar Zapata, Jordan Jefferson, Craig Kirkland, and Mike Widener.
