Discovering Electronic Databases at Yale

The Yale University Library System offers access to more than 1,100 electronic databases including collections of e-journals and e-books, primary sources, law specific sources, newspapers, image, sound and video collections, and abstract and indexing services. Accessing some databases requires individual log-in while other databases are available on campus through IP recognition or via VPN when off-campus. Quicksearch

Researchers can discover Yale’s electronic databases using Yale's Quicksearch Database interface. Here, one can browse or search electronic databases. You can search by title, subject, or a word in a title (i.e. newspaper), and further narrow by applying filters including language and subject, for example.

MORRIS

Additionally, researchers can use the Law Library’s Electronic Databases Discovery Page in Morris. Here, one can find electronic legal databases by title, search for databases by title or subject, or browse by subject. Browsing databases by subject is a good way to discover new resources.
